Kenton 8th grade volleyball opens season with Lima West; loses 2 sets to 1

The Kenton 8th grade volleyball team played their regular season opener at Lima West Saturday.  The Wildcats and Spartans traded points throughout set 1 until the Wildcats prevailed 26 – 24.  Kenton struggled in sets 2 and 3 losing 11 – 25 and 8 – 25 to lose the match 2 sets to 1.  Kenton travels to Van Wert Tuesday for a 5:30 match.
