Kenton Boys Bowling Takes Close Match Against Shawnee

The Kenton Wildcats pulled off another close WBL win Saturday morning, this time against Shawnee, with a final score of 2516-2392. They started strong with an 894 in the first individual games, taking a 78-pin lead. Shawnee fought back in the second individual games, 809-868, trimming the lead to 19 pins heading into the five baker games. After the first two bakers, the score was tied at 1994. Kenton then took the last three bakers to seal the win. Hudson Latimore led with a 404 series (200-204), while Cale Harshfield rolled the high game of 215. Other scores included Eban Albert with 365 (193-172), Harshfield with 350 (215-135), Noah Beidelschies with 291 (139-152), and Trevor Roesner with 147. The Wildcats’ next match is Monday in Fostoria.
