
The Kenton Wildcats boys golf team picked up an impressive road victory on Tuesday afternoon, defeating Celina in a Western Buckeye League (WBL) match at Celina Lynx Golf Club. Kenton posted a team score of 176, outpacing the host Bulldogs, who finished with a 202. The Wildcats were led by Austin Root and Landon Plaugher, who each carded a 42 to share medalist honors. Oliver Sneary followed closely behind with a solid 45, while Jack Whitmer contributed a 47 to round out Kenton’s top four scorers. Cale Harshfield (48) and Parker Benson (51) also turned in competitive rounds for the Wildcats. With the win, Kenton continues to build momentum in WBL play as the season progresses.
