Kenton Boys Tennis Drops WBL Contest to Shawnee

The Kenton Wildcats Boys Tennis team hit the road to face Shawnee on Monday night, coming up short with a 0-5 loss. Despite what the scores might suggest, all five matches were hard-fought battles. In 1st Singles, Garraden Wirbel fell to Lila Brennan 2-6, 3-6. At 2nd Singles, Seth Spencer was defeated by Mason Latham 1-6, 0-6, while Brian Rogers at 3rd Singles lost to Chase Carpenter 2-6, 1-6. In 1st Doubles, Cale Harshfield and Wyatt Campbell took on Aidan Latham and Sailor Drury, losing 1-6, 4-6. Finally, at 2nd Doubles, Jack Whitmer and Richard Huang were bested by Brandt McGreevy and Sam Conrad 1-6, 0-6.

The Wildcats travel back to Lima on Tuesday to take on Bath in another WBL contest.
