Kenton Boys Varsity Tennis beats River Valley 4 – 1

The Kenton Wildcats traveled to River Valley and picked up their first win of the season 4-1.

Wyatt Campbell opened the match with a 6-0, 6-2 win at 1st singles.  Seth Spencer continued the winning streak with a 6-3, 6-1 win at 2nd singles. The 1st doubles team of Braylon Smith/Ethan McNamara win their match 6-3, 6-4, securing the team win.  The 2nd doubles team of Jace Murphy/Parker Benson won by forfeit.  Brian Rogers battled at 3rd singles to force a 3rd set tie break but lost his match, 2-6, 6-4, 1-10.

1st Singles: Wyatt Campell defeated Ari Osborne 6-0, 6-2

2nd Singles: Seth Spencer defeated Jordan Bucklane 6-3, 6-1

3rd Singles: Brian Rogers lost to Lian Bier 2-6, 6-4, 1-10

1st Doubles: Braylon Smith/Ethan McNamara defeated Laytart/Bauer 6-3, 6-4

2nd Doubles: Jace Murphy/Parker Benson won by forfeit.
