Kenton Boys Varsity Tennis falls to Bath 4 – 1

The Kenton Wildcats hosted Bath Tuesday night.  The Wildcats put together another competitive match.  The 2nd doubles team of Tate Ketcham and Ethan McNamara were the lone winner, outlasting Bath in the 1st set 7-6 (7-5), then winning the 2nd set 6-3.  The 1st doubles team of Cale Harshfield and Braylon Smith came back from losing set 1 3-6, to win the 2nd set 6-1, forcing a 3rd set, unfortunately losing 4-6.  Seth Spencer, at 2nd singles, battled back after losing the 1st set 2-6, to force a 2nd set tie break, but lost 6-7 (3-7).  Brian Rogers and Wyatt Campbell both battled in their matches.

1st Singles:  Wyatt Campbell lost to Taylor McCoy 2-6, 1-6

2nd Singles:  Seth Spencer lost to Braydin Vanbuskirk 2-6, 6-7 (3-7)

3rd Singles: Brian Rogers lost to Carter Deppe 0-6, 2-6

1st Doubles: Cale Harshfield/Braylon Smith lost to  Zach White/Ethan Bodine 3-6, 6-1, 4-6

2nd Doubles: Tate Ketcham/Ethan McNamara defeated Cody Miller/Hale Hensley 7-6 (7-5), 6-3

The Wildcats travel to Celina Thursday for a 4:30pm match.
