Kenton Boys Varsity Tennis falls to Marion Pleasant 4 – 1
The Kenton Wildcats hosted Pleasant Monday night. Even though the Wildcats lost 1-4, each match saw Kenton pick up games. Cale Harshfield was Kenton’s lone winner at 2nd singles, winning the opening set 7-6 (7-2), losing set 2 3-6, then fighting back in the 3rd set tiebreak, winning 10-8.
1st Singles: Wyatt Campbell lost to Alex Yancy 0-6, 1-6
2nd Singles: Cale Harshfield outlasted Cael Bower 7-6 (7-2), 3-6, 10-8
3rd Singles: Seth Spencer lost to Landon Severns 2-6, 4-6
1st Doubles: Tate Ketcham/Ethan McNamara lost to Griffin Gllespen/Brady Werling 2-6, 3-6
2nd Doubles: Richard Huang/Jack Whitmer lost to Ryan Warsik/Luke Russel 2-6, 2-6
