Kenton Boys Varsity Tennis falls to Van Wert 3 – 2

The Kenton Wildcats traveled to Van Wert Wednesday for their 3rd WBL match in a row.  The Wildcats got wins from Seth Spencer at 3rd singles and from the 2nd doubles team of Jack Whitmer and Tate Ketcham but couldn’t find one more win  losing to the Cougars 2-3.

1st Singles:  Cale Harshfield lost to Keaton Foster 2-6, 0-6

2nd Singles: Wyatt Campbell lost to Aaron Reichert 0-6, 0-6

3rd Singles: Seth Spencer rallied to defeat Jaymison Moynihan 3-6, 6-4, 6-3

1st Doubles: Braylon Smith/Micah Bowman lost to Nash Pugsley/Zack Stoller 4-6, 4-6

2nd Doubles: Jack Whitmer/Tate Ketcham defeated Beau Bear/Ben Verville 6-2, 6-4

In JV play,

Ethan McNamara/Richard Huang won 8-0

Jace Murphy/Parker Benson lost 2-8

Brian Rogers won 6-3

The Wildcats travel to Elida Thursday for their 4th WBL match in a row. Game time is 4:30pm.
