Kenton Boys Varsity Tennis falls to Wapakoneta 3 – 2

The Kenton Wildcats traveled to Wapakoneta Friday night.  Both doubles teams came out swinging, winning their matches in straight sets. Cale Harshfield/Braylon Smith won their 1st doubles match 6-1, 6-0 and Tate Ketcham/Ethan McNamara won their 2nd doubles match 6-3, 6-0.

Kenton singles players Wyatt Campbell, Seth Spencer, and Brian Rogers pushed the Redskins in each match but couldn’t get a 3rd match win as Kenton lost to Wapakoneta 2-3.

1st Singles: Wyatt Campbell lost to Brayden Hooker 2-6, 2-6

2nd Singles: Seth Spencer lost to Riley Szelagowski 3-6, 3-6

3rd Singles: Brian Rogers lost to Kami Jauert 4-6, 2-6

1st Doubles: Cale Harshfield/Braylon Smith defeated Reese Schadl/Olivia Lewis 6-1, 6-0

2nd Doubles: Tate Ketcham/Ethan McNamara defeated Kambree Lighty/Marly Webb 6-3.6-0

The Wildcats host Ottawa Glandorf Monday night @ 4:30 pm.
