The Kenton girls’ varsity soccer team faced Shelby live on WKTN. Despite coming in as the lower seed, the Wildcats didn’t play like it. They pulled off a 2-0 shutout, moving on to the next round of the playoffs. Up next, they’ll take on Mansfield Christian on the road this Saturday.
Ellie Minter netted a brace for Kenton, earning the Root Lumber Player of the Game title, while Braylee Sturts claimed the honors for Shelby.
