Kenton Girls Soccer Fell to Bellefontaine

The first varsity girls’ game on the newly renovated Merold Field was a back-and-forth affair that ended 0-0 at half. Kenton came out much better and dominated possession for most of the second half while hitting the crossbar twice and missing a penalty kick. Bellefontaine made a late push and had a corner kick with just under a minute remaining. Hadley deflected the ball out of bounds for another corner and was able to score with 26 seconds left.
