Kenton Girls Varsity Soccer ties Crestview 2 – 2
The Kenton Wildcat Girls Soccer team finished their regular season (1-15-1) with a hard fought 2-2 tie against the Crestview Knights.
The Knights scored the first goal just over a minute into the contest but the Wildcats put the pressure on Crestview for the remainder of the 1st half as it finsihed 1-0.
Kinze Sprang (12th goal of season) put the Wildcats on the board 3 minutes into the second half off of an assist from Jessica Wood. Emma Hougendobler (3rd goal of season) was able to put the Wildcats up 2-1 when she scored off of an assist from Sprang with 23 minutes remaining in the game. Crestview rounded out the scoring when they tied the game with 20 minutes left in the game.
Kenton travels to St. Marys on Tuesday for their Sectional Semifinal game that will start at 6pm.
