Kenton High School Varsity Softball beat Ottawa-Glandorf High School 14-2

The wildcats took care of business right away beating Ottawa-Glandorf 14-2 on Monday night.

Brynn Butler got things started  with a triple in the first inning.  Emily Pees drove her in when she tripled. The Lady Cats notched five runs in the second inning.  The offensive onslaught by the Lady Cats was led by Brynn Butler, Pees, Brayla Butler, and Macee Heckathorn, all sending runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.

Butler pitched the wildcats to victory. Butler allowed one hit and zero runs over four innings, striking out four and walking one.  Heckathorn threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.

The Lady Cats tallied one home run on the day. Mace Heckathorn went yard in the second inning delivering the knock out punch and it was her second home run of the season.

The Lady Cats racked up 14 hits on the day.  Pees, Butler, Cailyn Brown, Butler, and Brylee Ramge each managed multiple hits for Lady Cats.  Butler and Pees each collected three hits to lead Lady Cats.
