KSA participated in the Big Walnut soccer showcase this past weekend and finished the weekend with a 4-0 record, earning Small Varsity Champions. (Fellow WBL member Elida also went 4-0, but Kenton edged them out on goal differential for the top spot.) To start the day on Friday, the Cats defeated Stivers 4-0 and Johnstown 1-0. For the last day, the Cats defeated Alexander Albany 5-0 and Milan Edison 2-1. It was a fun weekend of soccer, and the team is gaining valuable experience that will help them out moving into our season. A very young JV Wildcats team also participated and picked up a tie on the weekend, gaining plenty of needed experience.
Youth kids camp is Monday-Thursday this week at the KHS practice field from 9-11.
