Kenton to launch sports Hall of Honor

Kenton decieded to create the Kenton Athletic Hall of Honor at their April Board of Education meeting. Athletic Director Brett Purcell shared with WKTN that he is currently in the process of filling a selection committee that will consist of a KHS Staff member, an Athletic Booster officer (as determined by the officers) and 5 at-large members. The Athletic Director is also a part of the committee, but is a non-voting member.

The goal currently is for the committee to name the inaugural 10 members of the Athletic Hall of Honor in the Fall of 2025. In later years, there will be a nomination form where nominees can be submitted. The committee will then elect new members to the Hall of Honor based on those nominations. .
