Kenton Varsity Baseball beats Upper Scioto Valley 10 – 0

Wildcats win in 5 innings. Kenton came away with a 10-0 win against the Upper Scioto Valley Rams in a Saturday night non-conference match up. 

Kenton carried their hot bats from Friday night to Saturday tallying 11 hits, 3 walks, and 3 HBP.

Grady Kleman-Beazley : 2-4, 1-2B, 2 R, 1 HBP, 3 SB

Austin Dysert : 2-2, 1-2B, 2 R, 1 RBI, 2 BB, 2 SB

Alex Beach : 1-2, 1 R, 1 HBP, 1 SB

Haven Conley : 1-3, 1-2B, 1 R, 1 RBI

Jayden Mustain drew 1 BB and scored a run

Maddox Hommel was HBP

Kenton starter Austin Dysert went the distance throwing a complete game 1 hitter in 71 pitches. 5.0 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 2 BB, 7 K. Dysert had plenty of help from his defense playing error free and was lead by 2nd baseman Amiel Huff making multiple great plays to take hits away from the Rams. 

Kenton’s JV lost earlier in the day 8-4 to Van Wert. 

The Wildcats have a full week ahead of them. Varsity plays Monday home vs Marion Pleasant, Tuesday away @ Ottawa Glandorf, Thursday home vs Elida and Saturday at home vs Carey.
