Kenton Varsity Baseball falls to Allen East in Season Opener
The Kenton Wildcats opened their 2025 season with a loss to the Allen East Mustangs. Despite drawing 5 walks and leaving 8 runners stranded, the Wildcats managed just 1 hit, a single by Dawson Miller.
Alex Beach took the mound for Kenton, pitching 5 innings and allowing 8 hits, 6 runs, 0 walks, and striking out 4. In relief, Austin Dysert threw 2 innings, allowing no hits, no runs, 1 walk, and recorded 4 strikeouts.
Kenton JV played in game 2 of the doubleheader on Saturday, defeating Allen East JV 5-3.
The Varsity Wildcats return to action on Monday at Upper Sandusky, while the JV squad will play at home on Tuesday against Ottawa-Glandorf.
