The Kenton Wildcats scored the game’s final 11 points to subdue the Allen East Mustangs 57-46 in boys basketball action Saturday.
The Cats improve to 12-6 while the Mustangs drop to 9-9.
Kenton led 44-35 in the third quarter before Allen East put together an 11-2 spurt to knot the game at 44-all. The Wildcats then finished the game with an 11-0 run of their own to improve to 11-0 in non-conference games.
Jaron Sharp led all players with 27 points for Kenton and was named the Ace Hardware Player of the Game. Tye Sherman scored 10 and Jayden Cornell added nine for the winners.
Allen East put three players in double figures, led by Tyler Clum’s 13 points. Cole Fletcher added 11 points and Bradden Crumrine finished with 10 points.
