LCC 63, Ridgemont 46
LCC shut out Ridgemont in the third quarter to break open a close game en route to a 63 to 46 victory in Division IV girls basketball sectional tournament play at Coldwater on Tuesday.
The Thunderbirds (12-11) led 33-29 at the break but outscored Ridgemont 12-0 in the third period to take control of the contest.
Faith Jenkins led Ridgemont (11-11) with 17 points while Shaylee McGrath scored 10 points for the Golden Gophers.
