ONU Men’s Lacrosse Makes History, Advances to NCAA Second Round Against No. 3 Rochester

The Ohio Northern University Men’s Lacrosse team has checked off a number of goals they set to start the season.

They set out to win the program’s first conference tournament title, play in the program’s first NCAA tournament game, host an NCAA tournament game and win an NCAA game.

All of those have been accomplished during this special season, but they are not done yet.

With all that under their belt, the Polar Bears is now part of the field of 32.

ONU will be at number 3 Rochester for the second round NCAA tournament game tomorrow starting at noon.

The school also sent out congratulations to members of the Men’s Lacrosse team who were announced as 2025 All-OAC award winners.

-Freshman Peyton Lich was named OAC Freshman of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year, and earned First Team All-OAC honors.

-Tenth-year head coach Nat St. Laurent was named OAC Co-Coach of the Year.

-First Team All-OAC: Peyton Lich, Colin Willits, Alex Bergeron, Joe Keeley, Ryan Frech, Nathan Flynn

-Second Team All-OAC: Chad Calderwood, Ian Roy

-Honorable Mention All-OAC: Caleb Bennett, Alex Reimer
