Payne’s Record-Breaking Performance Lifts Wildcats Past LCC
The Wildcats start the season off with a win over LCC. Kenton Junior Sidney Payne single-handedly matched LCC’s scoring output to set a new Kenton single-game scoring record with 41 points. The previous record has stood since 1983, when Deb Brooks scored 37. The Wildcats will be back in action tonight at Allen East with tipoff scheduled for 7 PM.
