Rams Use Big First Inning to Knock Off Arlington

The Upper Scioto Valley Rams jumped out early and never looked back in a 15-7 win over Arlington on Thursday. USV scored eight runs in the first inning, highlighted by hits from Ashlyn Downing, Audrey Lawrence, Araya Boyd, and Ruby Risner.

Layla Hunsicker added a two-run triple in the third as the Lady Rams pushed the lead out of reach. Raegan Castle earned the win in the circle, striking out nine over six innings. USV finished with 11 walks and 15 stolen bases, led by Hunsicker’s 3 RBIs and multiple steals from several players.

The Rams return home Friday to host Cory-Rawson. Senior night
