Riverdale Celebrates Wes Davis Day with Victory Over Hornets

Riverdale baseball celebrated the life and career of Coach Wes Davis during their game against Cory-Rawson. On the event, Riverdale Varsity Baseball Head Coach Drew Bostic said, “It’s just a great day for our community and baseball program to remember and celebrate a great coach and an even better man. We’re fortunate that we’re able to dedicate a day to a guy who dedicated so much to the Riverdale community and baseball program for a lot of years.”

The Falcons were able to take an 11-6 victory in the game. Coach Bostic praised the team’s performance, saying, “Jackson threw a great game and the offense supported him. What a day for Landon Passet, who had a great day at the plate. It was good to get Tate’s bat back in the lineup tonight. Cory Rawson chipped and battled. Jackson and the defense worked out of some tough jams early in the game to keep the lead, and the offense kept supporting us throughout the game.”
