Riverdale and USV faced off in a varsity softball game Thursday evening, with the Falcons racing to an early 11-1 lead after just two innings and never looking back.
The Rams put up a fight all night, scoring 9 runs on 9 hits, but Riverdale’s offense proved overwhelming. The Falcons racked up 17 runs and saw 9 different players notch hits, finishing with 16 as a team.
Riverdale will return to action on Monday, April 20th, when they host Pandora-Gilboa, while USV will return to action on Wednesday when they host Kenton.
