Riverdale baseball star Evan Reiter will head to the University of Findlay to continue his athletic career next season. Reiter closed the door on his high school career with a bookshelf full of accolades, including three Player of the Year awards just in his senior season.

Evan began his high school career with 1st Team All-Conference, 1st Team OHSBCA District 9 Div 3, 1st Team NW Elida District Div 3, and 2nd Team All-Ohio Div 3 selections, and somehow that was just the beginning. Reiter followed that up by being named conference player of the year as a sophomore. The impressive pitcher and hitter would claim six player of the year awards in various categories throughout his career.

When you take a look at the stats, it is easy to see how the awards came pouring in. During his four years at Riverdale, Reiter was a career .519 hitter and a 1.48 ERA pitcher. Riverdale’s Ohtani did it all, while unofficial, it is believed Reiter set 10 school records in baseball for OBP, OPS, hits, runs, RBIs, doubles, triples, walks, stolen bases, and wins.
