Despite out-hitting Cory-Rawson 10-4, the Upper Scioto Valley Lady Rams dropped a tough 7-6 extra-inning game Friday night.

Ashlyn Downing, Audrey Lawrence, and Ruby Risner each had two hits, while Layla Hunsicker doubled in the first to get USV on the board early. The Rams rallied late to tie it in the seventh, but Cory-Rawson pushed across the winning run in the eighth.

Chloe Cunningham drove in two runs, and USV stole six bases in the game, with Downing and Sydney Christensen swiping multiple bags.

USV will look to bounce back Monday at Waynesfield-Goshen.
