The Ben Logan JV Raiders defeated the Falcons 31 to 29. Ben Logan trailed to start the game, but used defensive intensity to ultimately win the game. Madison Shields had 7 points and 5 rebounds, Bonnie Brunson had 6 points and 5 rebounds, Brielle Kline had 5 points, and Jozie Taylor hit a 3 at the end of the game to take the lead. This was an incredible team effort.
The Varsity Raiders didn’t fare as well as their JV counterpart and fell to the Falcons 51 to 30. Ben Logan had a slow offensive night but fought defensively throughout the game and trailed just 6 points going into the half, 21 to 15, to a really good offensive team. In the 3rd quarter, the Falcons started to pull away after sinking 4 3-point shots to open it up. Molly Siefring and Kaylee Hays both had 6 points, while Joplin Schneider and Paislee Rodenberger had 5 points each, and Joplin added 9 rebounds.
After a long stretch of away games this last week, the Ben Logan Raiders host the Greenon Knights on Monday, starting with a JV game at 6 PM.
