Upper Scioto Valley Weekly Athletic Update: June 2–7, 2025
It’s a celebratory week for Upper Scioto Valley athletics, highlighted by honors for spring athletes and a trip to the state championships.
On Thursday, June 5, the district will host its Spring Sports Awards Ceremony at 5:30 PM in the Alumni Fieldhouse. The event will recognize the achievements of student-athletes from high school baseball, softball, track, and junior high track. All athletes, families, and staff are warmly invited to attend this evening of recognition.
On Friday, June 6, Maddox Underwood will represent Upper Scioto Valley at the OHSAA State Track & Field Championships, competing in the high jump at 1:00 PM at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium on the campus of Ohio State University in Columbus. Tickets are available online only — $15 for adults, $10 for students, and free for children under 5. Purchase at: ohsaa.org/tickets.
No other athletic events are scheduled for this week.
