USV Falls to Ridgemont on Walk-Off Error
The Upper Scioto Valley Lady Rams came up just short in a hard-fought 6-5 extra-inning loss at Ridgemont on Monday. The game ended on a walk-off error in the eighth after the Lady Rams had tied it at five.
USV out-hit Ridgemont 7-4, with Chloe Cunningham leading the way with two hits. Ruby Risner and Shalyn Lawrence each drove in runs, while Raegan Castle pitched four strong innings in relief and added two stolen bases.
Despite a strong team effort and five stolen bases, the Lady Rams couldn’t hold off Ridgemont, who took advantage of 10 walks and timely hitting.
USV hosts Continental on Thursday
