USV Varsity Baseball Falls to Cory-Rawson

Cory-Rawson defeated Upper Scioto Valley 8-7 in eight innings Monday night in a Northwest Central Conference matchup. Cory-Rawson scored the game-winning run in the bottom of the 8th when Austin Inbody led off with a single. Inbody then stole second and third before scoring on an error. Cory-Rawson was clutch defensively, escaping a bases-loaded and one-out situation in the top of the eighth inning and a bases-loaded two-out situation in the top of the seventh inning.

Upper Scioto Valley will be back in action tonight against Waynesfield-Goshen.
