
Kenton girls basketball wins at Liberty Benton tonight 49-29. Kenton used a strong defensive effort and held Liberty Benton scoreless in the first quarter. The Cats were led by Brylee Bostelman with 18 points. Sidney Payne scored 13 points, while Macee Heckathorn scored 9 points. Sadie Larrabee scored 5 points and Liv Nolting and Kyla Bostater each had 2 points. Liberty Benton was led by Avery Knepper with 17 points. The Lady Cats move to 4-2 and return home to play Elida on Thursday.
The JV contest (one half) was won by Liberty Benton by a score of 19-13. Liberty Benton was led by Lucy Bacon with 10 points. The Cats were led by Kaiden Gammon with 8 points. Ally Rhinehart scored 3 points and Lyla Gammon rounded out the scoring with 2 points.
