Wildcats Narrowly Defeat River Valley in Golf
Wildcats Edge River Valley in Tight Match at Kings Mill Golf Club. The Kenton boys golf team earned a hard-fought victory on the road Tuesday afternoon, edging out River Valley 168-171 in a closely contested match at Kings Mill Golf Club. Leading the way for the Wildcats were Austin Root and Landon Plaugher, each carding a team-best 41. Oliver Sneary followed closely with a 42, and Cale Harshfield rounded out the scoring with a 44 to secure the three-stroke win. Also contributing to Kenton’s effort were Parker Benson (49) and Jack Whitmer (51). With this win, Kenton continues to build momentum as they move deeper into their fall schedule.
