Applications continue to be accepted for the 2022 Hardin County Citizens Sheriff’s Academy. It will be conducted consecutive Tuesdays beginning March 8 and running through April 19.  The sessions are planned for 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the Sheriff’s Office in Kenton. The Jackson-Forest Joint Ambulance District will meet in a special session tomorrow.  The meeting will start at 7 Wednesday evening at the Jackson Township Hall. The purpose of the meeting is to conduct regular business and approve bills.   Business was not able to be completed at the last regular meeting due to the new Clerk/ Fiscal Officer not having access to financial information.

The SOUP Kitchen continues to serve meals this week at the Coterie in downtown Kenton. The meals will be served from 11am to 1pm through this Friday and the last full week of every month.
