The owners of a Findlay food truck have responded after being sued by a giant in the food industry.
Kellogg filed a lawsuit this month against the owners of Leggo My Eggroll in U.S. District Court in Toledo.
The suit claims that the owners infringed on their copyrighted slogan L’Eggo my Eggo,” which is used to promote the company’s Eggo frozen waffles.

Kellogg also accused the food truck owners of utilizing a font and color scheme that appears to similar to Eggo packaging.
The company claims they offered to pay the operators $5,000 to change the name, but filed a lawsuit after the food truck operators allegedly “ignored Kellogg’s requests and responded with its own threats and demands.”
On Thursday, the owners posted a response on its Facebook page, highlighting their court documents calling the company’s claims false, inflammatory and improper.
They claim that negotiations and honest dialogue do not amount to threatening language.
This is their complete response:
Good afternoon, good people! We would like to clear up a few topics that have been floating around the media that had been posted in this law suit that are very untrue false statements.
Thank you to our friends and family as well as our local foodies who support us during this crazy part of life! If u know us personally which a lot of you do then you know are intentions are always in hearts and we will not take this bullying or trolling.
We will not be responding to any information regarding our case as our lawyer advised and we will not be responding to negative nasty mean comments either.
Thank you Bobby & Gabryel
Kellogg has said they had no choice but the file a lawsuit, and they are now seeking to “recover all gains and profits that “L’Eggo my Eggroll” has made while using the name.
