A Kenton man was arrested Tuesday night after a domestic incident was reported.

According to the Kenton Police Department report, the victim arrived at the department at just before 10 Tuesday night to report the incident.

After an investigation, 29-year-old John Puckett was arrested.

He is being held in the Multi-County Jail on charges of domestic violence and unlawful restraint.

There were no injuries.

The Bellefontaine Examiner reported that Puckett is a Logan County Sheriff’s deputy.

The paper stated that Logan County Sheriff Randy Dodds will place Puckett on paid administrative leave while the case is investigated.
