The Bellefontaine Police Department’s Cops & Bobbers event that was held Wednesday evening was a huge success.
35 kids and their families turned out, and together they caught over 100 fish.
The largest catch of the night was a catfish measuring over 17 inches, while the smallest was a bluegill at just 3.5 inches.
Every kid went home with a new fishing pole and baits, making memories that will last a lifetime.
These types of events bring the community together and give kids a chance to enjoy the outdoors while building great connections with their local officers.
More photos from the exciting event can be found on the Bellefontaine Police Department‘s Facebook.
