Reservations Being Accepted Now for Hardin County Lamb Banquet

The 2026 annual Hardin County Lamb Banquet will be held on Saturday, March 7.

Doors will open at 6 and the banquet begins at 6:30 that evening at St. John’s Evangelical Church in Kenton.

The meal will consist of various cuts of lamb.

Attendees should arrive early to participate in a silent auction to benefit the scholarship program.

Banquet tickets this year are $25 for adults, $10 for children,and exhibitors for free.

Reservations need to be made by February 23 by calling the OSU Extension office at 419-674-2297 with all tickets paid for at the door at the banquet.

The purpose of the Hardin County Lamb Banquet is to recognize the lamb industry, including the youth and adults who work with sheep in the county.

Scholarship and Lamb & Wool Ambassador applications are available online at go.osu.edu/26scholarshipsandroyalty with applications due February 20.
