
The Kenton Wildcats headed to Fostoria for the NW District Boys Sectional, finishing 5th, just one spot short of making it to the District Tournament. They posted individual game scores of 914, 929, and 869 for a 2712 series, holding 5th place going into the six-baker games. The Wildcats tallied 1036 in those games (168 – 179 – 148 – 163 – 175 – 203) but ended up 50 pins behind Wynford. Liberty-Benton took the sectional title with a 3900 total.
Eban Albert bowled games of 212, 197, and 197 for a 606 series, earning an individual spot in the district tournament. Albert will now compete at Interstate Lanes in Rossford on February 19. Other scores included Cale Harshfield with a 545 (181 – 213 – 151), Hudson Latimore with a 539 (161 – 192 – 186), Trevor Roesner with a 523 (175 – 169 – 179), and Noah Beidelschies with a 499 (185 – 158 – 156).
