Kenton, OH – May 15, 2026 – United Way of Hardin County is proud to announce the allocation of $100,000 to support local partner agencies and internal programming for the 2026–2027 campaign year. This investment reflects United Way’s ongoing commitment to strengthening community resources and improving lives across Hardin County.
Funds will be distributed among twelve partner agencies whose work directly impacts education, health, and financial stability for local residents:
2026/27 Partner Agencies included: Beatitudes • Big Brothers Big Sisters • The Brady Effect • CHP Health Professionals • Hardin County Council on Aging • Helping Hands • Love INC • Midwest Regional ESC • Neighborhood Opportunity Center • Red Cross Hardin County • Safe Haven • Hardin County YMCA
In addition to partner funding, United Way will continue to support its internal programs, which provide essential services and youth engagement opportunities throughout the county: Lunch Buddies, Five High School Food Banks, 2-1-1, and Hardin Student Leaders – United.
“These allocations represent the heart of our mission—to unite people and resources to create lasting change,” said Martha Nau, Executive Director of United Way of Hardin County. “We are deeply grateful to our Board of Directors and Community Investment Committee for their dedication, thoughtful evaluation, and commitment to ensuring every dollar makes a meaningful difference.”
Through these investments, United Way of Hardin County continues to empower local organizations and programs that serve families, seniors, and youth—building a stronger, more connected community.
