Man Arrested on Drug Charges in Findlay

A man was arrested after Findlay police officers were dispatched to the Drury Inn at 820 West Trenton Avenue over this past weekend for a suspicious male possibly selling drugs in the parking.

According to a release, there was a detective in the area who was able to observe what appeared to be a drug transaction.

Officers with the Findlay Police Department approached the suspect’s vehicle, and the sole occupant of the vehicle, identified as DeKeevion Washington, was detained while the K-9 unit was called to the scene.

The vehicle was searched and 38 grams of suspected crack cocaine was located along with $2,159 in cash.

Washington was taken into custody for possession of drugs a felony of the first degree and possession of drug paraphernalia.
