Storm 12:20 p.m. Update: About 21,000 customers across our service area remain without power after severe weather moved through this morning. The hardest-hit area is Newark, where about 11,800 customers are currently without power.

Strong to severe storms will continue to move across our service areas today. Please know our crews will continue to work as quickly and as safely as possible to get your lights back on.

Remember::

All downed lines are dangerous. Stay as far away as possible from any downed lines and anything they may be touching. Call AEP Ohio at 800-672-2231 to report a potential hazard and 911 if there is an emergency.
