With Opening of School Year, Motorists Urged to Drive with Care

Now that schools throughout Hardin County are open, or soon will be, the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office is urging motorists to drive carefully.

You should be alert for students who may be walking to and from school or waiting to board or exit their school bus.

Also, stop for school buses loading or unloading children, and obey all posted speed limits, including 20 miles per hour in school zones.

Sheriff’s Office officials wish students and staffs in all Hardin County schools a safe, happy and successful school year.
