A theft at a business in Findlay over the weekend led to a pursuit and the apprehension of two suspects.
According to a release from the Findlay Police Department, officers were dispatched to Kohl’s on Tiffin Avenue in reference to a theft in progress.
The suspects, later identified as 51 year old Ontra L. Brooks and 30 year old Kyra Bennett, both of Lima, fled the store in a car, and when officers attempted to stop it, the driver accelerated and reached speeds of up to 60 miles an hour.
The pursuit ended in the 500 block of G Street, and Brooks was arrested for failure to comply with the order of signal of a police officer.
He and Bennett were charged with petty theft.
