Kenton Swim Team Finds Success at Sectional Swim Meet
The Kenton High School swim team had a great sectional meet this past Saturday, February 13, 2021.
Eight swimmers moved on to the district meet at BGSU.
The girls relay team (Delaney Buxton, Kinley Howe, Riley Hunt, & Abi Mustain) qualified in the 400 freestyle relay.
The boys team (Devan Dulin, Carter Hale, Isaac Oreglia, and Keegan Wright) qualified in the medley relay and the 400 freestyle relay.
Also this season, junior Devan Dulin broke the men’s 500 freestyle record for the KHS team. He broke the record at the Ottawa-Glandorf meet on January 11 with a time of 5:53.81. He then broke his own record at the home meet on Jan 21st with a time of 5:52.24.
