On the 17th anniversary of an arson and double homicide, the Union County Sheriff’s Office is asking for any information on the cold case.
A residential fire on December 8, 2004 in the Northeast section of the county claimed the lives of 9-year old William “BJ” Channell and his 8-year old brother Brett Channell.
The Ohio State Fire Marshal’s Office determined the fire was arson, and the deaths of the two boys was ruled a homicide.
