
An accident occurred at around 12:30 this morning in the 900 block of Fontaine Street in Kenton.
According to the report from the Kenton Police Department, 43 year old Trisha Grider drove off the left side of the road while traveling north.
The vehicle ended up off the road where it struck two concrete pillars surrounding a fire hydrant.
It continued through a lawn where it struck multiple standing gas tank vents, where it then spun and came to rest facing the opposite direction.
Grider told officers that she swerved to avoid hitting wildlife on the road.
Disabling damage occurred to her car, and Grider was treated at the scene by EMT’s from BKP.
She was cited for failing to maintain reasonable control.
Not many details were available for a crash that occurred Wednesday south of Forest.
According to information from the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office, the crash occurred on State Route 53 at Township Road 80.
One vehicle was on its top when emergency cres arrived, and the occupant was taken by squad to an undisclosed hospital.
A citation was issued as well.
