Hardin County Economic Development has been working with several organizations on the 3 E Program.
The program is designed to help students decide whether they will be Employed, Enlisted, or Enrolled after graduation and to celebrate each path that a student may choose.
Assisting with the program are Hardin County Ohiomeansjobs, the Midwest Regional Educational Service Center, Ohio Hi-Point Career Center and the school districts of Hardin County.
Part of the initiative is a three-part Speakers Series, introducing eighth graders to careers in Manufacturing, Agriculture, and Healthcare.
Another part is 3 E Signing Day, where participating students from the twelfth grade are presented with certificates and celebrated for selecting “their E”!
Signing Days will be held at each of the school districts in the county in the coming weeks.
Contact the Hardin County Chamber and Business Alliance for more information.
