Parents in the Ridgemont School District are being reminded that if their child qualified for free or reduced meals last year, they will have until October 1 to reapply.
Students will continue to receive meals under last year’s application.
If you receive a letter confirming that you qualified for this year, there is no need to fill out an application.
The State of Ohio is in a pilot program to allow Medicaid students to qualify for free or reduced meals.
The state match for that will be available at a later date.
Students that qualify for reduced meals will receive breakfast and lunch at no cost this school year.
