Food for Fines at Two County Libraries Ending Soon
Food for Fines programs at two area libraries are winding down.
The last day at the Mary Lou Johnson Hardin County District Library in Kenton is December 31, 2023.
Food for Fines at the Alger Public Library runs through next Friday January 5, 2024.
You can pay off your fines for overdue items with food instead of cash at both libraries.
Take the food items to the circulation desks in the libraries.
Only unopened pre-packaged non-perishable food will be accepted.
