Teenage Boy Injured in Wapakoneta Shooting Incident
A 15 year old boy is in critical condition after being shot in Wapakoneta early Sunday morning.
According to a release from Wapakoneta Police Chief Calvin Schneider, officers were notified about the shooting at just before 5:30 Sunday morning.
The boy was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.
Chief Schneider stated that foul play is not suspected, but agents from BCI are assisting in the investigation.
He added that the investigation is still in the early stages, and no other comments will be made at this time.
Members from the Crisis Intervention Team are at Wapakoneta High School today to help students and staff deal with the incident.
